Recently legislation changed resulting in parish councils having to return to face to face meetings in order to make decisions. Following this change in legislation - one of our long standing members has decided to step down as a parish councillor because of this change.  Whilst we totally understand the reasons for their decision, and wish them well, we are very sad to see them go, as they take with them years of experience working for the community in this sector.

This obviously opens up a gap for one parish councillor - so if you would like to find out more about becoming a parish councillor and the process, please do contact the staff who between them have over 50 years experience in this field! Staff have to remain neutral and as such do not get involved in politics.
